I would seriously consider trying a non-mac, but you know I don't like macs, lol. I just got a gateway tablet pc with a 14" widescreen monitor. the wacom pen it comes with is very responsive and its powerful enough to play a few games too. the dvd drive and dvd burner are a nice touch too. It was also not too expensive though it might be considered bulky to some.
